The Reading School Book Awards 2021

The Reading School Book Award 2021 launches next term. This award recognises enjoyable, exciting and engaging recently published Young Adult Fiction, as voted for by the pupils at Reading School.

The award recognises enjoyable, exciting and engaging recently published Young Adult Fiction, as voted for by the pupils at Reading School.  Books must be aimed at a Young Adult audience and must have been published for the first time in the UK between 1st May 2020 and 30th April 2021.

The Award is run by the Reading School Book Club and was started last year in response to being in Lockdown, recognising the power and importance of a great read.

The 2020 winning book was Nightshade by Anthony Horowitz.  Our new Reading School Book Award Cup has been engraved with the title of the winning book.  The cup will remain at Reading School but a photo of Book Club members holding the cup has been sent to Anthony Horowitz to acknowledge his win.  We look forward to seeing the list of winners grow year after year.

Nominations for the Book Award will be collected next term.
