Keith Holland

I'm a newly appointed Parent Governor and new parent to Reading school, my son having entered year 7 in September 2017. I have dual nationality: NZ and U.K, with my formative primary and secondary school years spent in NZ. As a mechanical engineer I have been privileged to work with several successful Formula 1 teams in a variety of roles gaining an eclectic and diverse skill set. My proudest team accomplishments include multiple F1 constructor championships, and winning the coveted Laureus Sporting Award for Team of the Year in 2006. In recent years I have held a pivotal role in McLaren’s Sales and Marketing team, and contributed to the successful launch of a new Global super car company.

I have a natural predisposition for STEM subjects and a passion for world class innovation within business and academia and believe that information technology should be integral to the teaching and learning process.

When not working, I enjoy cycling, music, movies, and motorsport, and have a passion for travel.
