The safeguarding governor for Reading School is Bob Kenwrick.
I have been a parent governor since Dec 2018 and subsequently a Governor representative for the Reading Foundation. I have three children including a son currently in the school. My passion for supporting the school in the education and development of the boys in the school stems from my desire to give back where I can. Previously, I have held a governorship position in a primary school, where I was able to learn and develop my knowledge and skills around supporting schools as a governor. I have held senior roles in central government, the NHS, and in a variety of private businesses across a broad range of industry sectors, but always in IT, networks and technology. I am a Fellow of the British Computer Society, and mentor several individuals and businesses in effective and safe ICT strategies.
As a governor I am a member of the EXPC and property committees, and also I am the link governor for IT and technology and also for the CCF (Combined Cadet Force).
