The safeguarding governor for Reading School is Bob Kenwrick.
I am a trust appointed governor, joining the governing body in March 2014. I retired from the financial services industry having lived and worked across Asia and the Americas for almost 20 years. During my time outside of the UK I was also lucky enough to have spent extended periods as a visiting post-graduate researcher at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan and in a similar role in the Japanese central bank. My son attended Reading School as a boarder in East Wing until 2020 and flourished at the school. I chair the Curriculum and Standards Committee, the Sustainability Working Group, am a trustee of the Reading Foundation and I am a Director of Future Stories Community Enterprise Ltd. My interests include how Reading School prepares boys for life after they leave – through my son I am currently gaining insight into exactly how that plays out!
