Our 900th Anniversary closed with a spectacular fireworks finale that brought together over 800 families, standing side by side. Yes, it was a spectacle, but it was also about the shared experience, warmth, and a sense of belonging that has carried this School for nine centuries.

We’re grateful to Sonning Fireworks Ltd who, judging by the crowd’s response, we may be welcoming back in 2026, and to our partners Cloud Nine Candy Floss Art, Reading School Parents Association, and Book A Bar, who all helped make the evening feel welcoming and complete. A special thanks is shared with our student team on the night, who helped with logistics, stewarding, and photography.
