We’re certain that Reading School was the only place in Reading on Saturday 5 July where Brazil, Jamaica, Ukraine, India, Hong Kong and many more cultures danced, sung and celebrated together side by side during our special event for the whole Reading community.

Over 5000 people visited our Community Carnival - an occasion that showcased the diverse and thriving communities of Reading. From bhangra to street dance, snakes to spiders, wall climbing to escape rooms, e-sports to Mahjong, sound therapy to theatre – there was something for everyone, and we are extremely thankful to each and every person, family, friend, neighbour, partner, alumni, former parents and members of the Reading community who joined us in celebrating our 900th Anniversary.
