"Going to boarding has been unforgettable this year. I’ve never had a boring moment in boarding life and I love it. It’s great spending time around your friends (and the older boys), especially when there’s so much to do. The lounge is my favourite place indoors because of the pool table (a boarder’s favourite) and the table football. There’s always snacks available, ranging from juicy fruits to delicious biscuits. Big Dorm is always fun as well due to the table tennis and loads of board games. Everyday, there’s a selection of activities after school held by the boarding tutor (teacher on duty) and my personal favourite is playing out on the front field but if you prefer the indoors, then board games are for you...Before I started boarding, I was quite nervous; would I be missing my parents everyday? Would I be left out? But don’t worry, you’ll feel at home the second you step inside. All the staff are super friendly, and they will be there to help when you need it. My biggest piece of advice is to get on the good side with everyone, most importantly the seniors!"

Hello there! My name is Aanaahat. I am a year 7 boarder in East Wing and East house. The best club is Board Games on Thursday and my favorite events were when we visited a football stadium and the horse racing (where we 'betted' on a horse to win a race and if we won, we got sweets!) Some advice I'd give to a new boarder is to always tell a grown up about anyone who's troubling you.
